The Fewings Fellowship was established to honour those who have confirmed their intention to include the Somerville House Foundation in their Will.

“Education is the key to a child’s future. My daughters benefited immensely from their education and friendships at Somerville, which has had a huge influence on their lives.”

Mr Barry Scott OAM, Chairman of the Establishment Committee (1984), the first Foundation for a girl’s school in Australia. Inaugural Foundation President (1984 to 1988). Medal of the Order of Australia for ‘service to animal conservation, and to the community’, past parent.

"I flourished under the guidance of my teachers, whom I remember with great affection - Miss Morgan, Miss Beeston, Miss White, Miss Shaw, Miss Wilson and Miss George, my gift is in honour of them."

Dr Pamela Davenport (Class of 1954), former History and English teacher.

The Somerville House Foundation Endowment Fund was established to support the School, its future operations and to provide for the future of Somerville House through economic and government downturns.
