Acknowledgement of Country
Somerville House acknowledges the First Nations Peoples, the Turrbal from the Northside of the Brisbane River and the Yuggera from the Southside of the Brisbane River; their appreciation and nourishment of their sacred land for thousands of years. We honour Elders - past, present and emerging – and show respect for their continued cultural and spiritual connection to the lands and waters.
