Tennis News
The Knowles Cup season got underway Saturday with Somerville House travelling to Toowoomba to take on The Glennie School and Fairholme College. Somerville House put on a dominant display winning seven ties to one.
The Open A team were on fire only dropping eight games in sixteen sets of tennis, unbelievable tennis. Open B were in form, winning ten out of twelve sets. Intermediate had a thrilling win against Glennie on a games count back before dismantling Fairholme comfortably. The Juniors had a great win out of the sheds against Glennie, then went down to Fairholme who were too strong on the day.
Congratulations to all the girls on their performances.
Tonight we look to build on our results when we head to UQ to take on Stuartholme.
