If you love to swim for fitness or fun, the heated 50m Somerville House Murray Evans Sports and Aquatic Centre Pool is open to the public and available for lap swimming all year round.
If you live around South Brisbane or work nearby you may not be aware that Somerville House’s Aquatic Centre is open to the public and available for use as a swimming pool for general fitness and training.
The state-of-the-art pool is open from 4.30am to 8.30pm on week days throughout summer and has dedicated swimming lanes for swimmers with supervised lifeguards on-duty. It is also open on weekends.
There is a well-equipped gymnasium onsite that caters for strength conditioning training.
Cost of pool entry is $6 or $57 for a pack of ten. Additional fees and inclusions are available if you are also interested in gym usage and towel hire.
Limited parking is available onsite.
We welcome patrons to come and swim at Somerville and get fit and heathy for summer.
