We are proud to announce that Somerville House is now an authorised IB World School, offering the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme! 🌍📚
This milestone follows a dedicated 12-month candidacy period, during which:
✅ Over 20 teachers completed official, rigorous IB training
✅ Key school policies were reviewed and updated
✅ Comprehensive curriculum documentation was developed
✅ We welcomed two official visits from IB representatives
This achievement reflects the incredible commitment and collaboration of our entire community. A heartfelt thank you to our teachers, PMSA, school leaders, parents, and students—your passion and support made this possible.
Somerville House now joins a global network of 6,070 IB World Schools, including 3,864 schools offering the IB Diploma Programme.
We look forward to supporting our first IB Diploma cohort in 2026 as they embark on this enriching academic journey.
