Somerville House has once again proven its strength in the pool, claiming the Andrews Cup Swimming Championships for the fourth consecutive year — an extraordinary achievement that reflects the depth, dedication and teamwork of our Junior School swimmers.
Adding to the celebrations, our team also secured the Springfield Cup for the second year in a row, with an exceptional relay performance by Savannah F, Quiana L, Charlotte S and Annika K.
Across the carnival, Somerville House swimmers delivered a truly dominant performance:
- 42 race wins from a highly competitive field of 112 races
- Top-three placings in 94 of 112 races
- 11 championship records broken across individual and relay events
Our swimmers excelled across all age groups, with first-place overall results for:
- 8 years & under
- 10 years
- 12 years
Strong performances also saw our:
- 9-year-olds finish second overall
- 11-year-olds finish second overall
