Somerville House has once again proven its strength in the pool, claiming the Andrews Cup Swimming Championships for the fourth consecutive year — an extraordinary achievement that reflects the depth, dedication and teamwork of our Junior School swimmers.

Adding to the celebrations, our team also secured the Springfield Cup for the second year in a row, with an exceptional relay performance by Savannah F, Quiana L, Charlotte S and Annika K.

Across the carnival, Somerville House swimmers delivered a truly dominant performance:

  • 42 race wins from a highly competitive field of 112 races
  • Top-three placings in 94 of 112 races
  • 11 championship records broken across individual and relay events

Our swimmers excelled across all age groups, with first-place overall results for:

  • 8 years & under
  • 10 years
  • 12 years

Strong performances also saw our:

  • 9-year-olds finish second overall
  • 11-year-olds finish second overall

  • 4 x 25m Freestyle Relay: Elsie C, Isobelle L, Savannah F, Megan H
  • 25m Backstroke (Division A): Amelia M
  • 25m Backstroke (Overall Record): Savannah F
  • 25m Backstroke (Previous Record Holder Noted): Amelia P
  • 25m Butterfly (Division B): Elsie C
  • 25m Butterfly (Overall Record): Savannah F

9–10 Years

  • 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay: Savannah F, Megan H, Elsie C, Isobelle L
