Somerville House encourages academic excellence and personal growth. To support this, the School and the Somerville House Foundation offer a range of scholarships for students in Years 7 to 12 each year.
As a leading girls’ school for more than 120 years, Somerville House encourages academic success, personal growth, service learning and responsible stewardship.
The Scholarship program provides opportunities for exceptional students who demonstrate academic excellence and support the values of the School.
Each year a limited number of scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and/or equity (which may include hardship) to Australian students (citizens or residents). If eligible, you are welcome to apply for more than one scholarship; however, only one scholarship can be awarded to a student.
A number of full and partial scholarships are awarded due the generous support of the School and Somerville House Foundation benefactors.
The award of a scholarship is tenable for the student’s education at the School, subject to satisfactory academic performance and contribution to school life.
