Each student receives an electronic learning device, fully supported by the School’s ICT Department. For lower year levels (Prep to Year 2), learning is supported with an iPad, while all other year levels receive a laptop computer. Please note that camps, optional excursions, and non-compulsory subject-related items will be charged and identified separately.

Fee schedules are reviewed and approved annually by the governing body and published in advance of the forthcoming year. Fees may be subject to change without notice due to changes in Australian legislation and/or regulations.

The annual tuition and boarding fees are charged quarterly for Australian students (citizens or residents) and twice per year for Overseas students. Year 12 students are billed across quarters 1, 2, and 3. Payments are accepted via credit card, debit card, BPAY, and cheque. Cheques should be made out to ‘Somerville House’.

Somerville House offers a 10% tuition discount to younger siblings if there are two or more siblings attending Somerville House at the same time. Additionally, upon written application and approval, a 10% tuition discount may apply for students who have siblings attending Brisbane Boys’ College (BBC), Clayfield College, or Sunshine Coast Grammar School. A written application can be submitted to fees@somerville.qld.edu.au.

We offer an opportunity to make a tax-deductible VBF contribution of $250 per term on every fee account. VBF contributions go to the Somerville House Foundation to support a capital project nominated by the School. The Foundation will report on how VBF gifts are spent in their annual Impact Report. All VBF gifts will be credited towards Foundation Membership.
